Current Demographic Trends

Where do you fit in in this year’s election?

Let’s look at recent statistics gathered by the Pew Research Center.

As you can see, the information shows that there are more male Trump supporters than there are male Clinton supporters. The opposite is also true in the case of female voters for Clinton.

Another interesting statistic is that only 1% of African Americans, and 5% of Hispanics are voting for Trump. The racial statistics for this upcoming election show that the population of Caucasians are going to be the largest determining factor to get Trump into office. He dominates the white male vote.

Also, looking at this Huffington Post survey, other trends become apparent.

The ideals of parties and of Americas seem to be switching and shifting. The percentage of Republicans that are now voting for Democratic candidates is gradually increasing throughout time. This shows that people are starting to choose ideals from the candidates, rather than just rely on the political party to win their votes.

This also shows how unsure people are in the US. 40% of people still do not know who they are going to end up voting for. Everyone fits in somewhere. Where do YOU stand?
